PENN News Term 4

This is our last PENN movie for Room 11 2019. I really enjoyed dressing up and putting on a play. I liked learning about how to keep ourselves safe in and around water at Glen Innes Aquatics. Making Fruit kababs was awesome. Playing Chubby Bunny for our our writing experience. Our treasure box has been full of fun and treats and slime. Reading about pizza and then we made pizza. We went to the beach to explore the rock pools, that was lot of fun. We have had so much fun learning together in Room 11.

i loved creating a tower with my friend siua. our tower was 48cm we made it out of marshmallows and spaghetti. the qualities i used was listening team work and respect to each other.

Today in cyber smart we learnt how to make a quality blog comment.

To make a sweet treat you will need to
1.pour the mass of hot, glassy mixture is poured
onto a special metal table where it is cooled.
2. The food colouring is put into the jelly bean
and then it ganges colour
3. The mixture is hooked, or pulled, which
makes the finished product crunchy.
4. Several people work  fast to pull and shape
each hot piece into a long rectangle before it's
cool too much

Latitude and Longitude

Today  mrs Szymanik helped us to  

Understand what Latitude and Longitude

Are. We wrote this together as a class.

Latitude is an invisible horizontal line that runs around the earth from
east to west.

It begins at the equator where its

Coordinates are o degrees.       

Longitude is the invisible vertical line that runs Around the earth
From North to South. The Prime Meridian is where its coordinates are
0 degrees.

Latitude and Longitude help us find and label every place in the world.
