Ocean FaQs

 

The ocean is a satisfying place.There are breathtaking animals that live there. My favourite sea creatures are the seahorse and clownfish.  Did you know that 95% of life is found in our oceans.Another interesting fact is that seahorses can only live 3-5 years.

Idea 1:  Seahorses are unique and different from every other fish. Male seahorses give birth to babies but some other fish it’s different the female gives birth. Seahorses are like pipefish; they are not that long but they have a face and nose like a seahorse. Their habitat is found in the Coastal waters and coral reefs. The weight of a seahorse is 7 to 16 ounces (200 to 450 grams).    

Idea 2. Clownfish live among the stinging tentacles of an ocean creature called an anemone. The clownfish is not stung by the anemone, but other fish do not dare to come close. The other fish do not dare to come close because they can get shocked. Clownfish usually lay their eggs on or around a full moon night. These eggs are guarded by the male till they hatch.

When I go back to school.

 

When I go back to school I want to be able to play with my friends and have fun. I want to do more drawing and art because it is one of my hobbies. I also want to go to the breakfast club early in the morning. Lastly, I want to join sports teams so that I can play more sports.

Today my Dad and I went out side and passed the ball to each other and we had fun.

 

Persuasive Writing

 I believe Fun looks like playing with your friends and having fun e.g. Laughing, kicking a ball around.

We all know that Integrity looks like doing the right thing when no one is looking, e.g. picking up rubbish.

I know for a fact that Respect is not talking when the teacher is trying to teach.

I am certain that Excellence looks like trying your best and never giving up.   

It has come to my attention that Achievement looks like achieving goals and being able to finish off work.  I remember  when I achieved my goal by being able to make into the rugby team.

We all agree that Confidence is being able to say a speech in front of anyone. For Example I was able to say a speech at my Grandpa’s funeral.

I believe that Enjoyment looks like laughing with your friends.

 

The pencil was extraordinarily vandalized . The pencil had scratches everywhere. My grip didn't last very long (only like two seconds or so). My pencil is very easy to snap. That's how old it is, just like an old dino bone ( sometimes when you discover a dino bone it can easily snap because of how  decayed it is ). Sometimes I like to think my pencil is an ordinary stick that I can throw for a dog to munch on. My pencil can still be used for times when I want to draw and poke someone in the eye. 

Guardian Sticks

 Today I learnt how to make a perfect Guardian stick. Two women from
Kaitiaki Kids came to tell us that we should spend most of our time outside to play and pass balls. If you or your family see rubbish around your house just ask them nicely if they can help you pick all of the rubbish up. After you have done that you will feel good that your helping you environment.

 

My amazing trip to the maritime museum

            I enjoyed learning how to tie a reef knot. This is our group photo at the maritime museum. 

Ukulele And me by William

 My Ukulele is very very special to me and I don’t want my little brother to get a hold of it so I have to keep it away from them. At first I could not play that many songs until now I can play as much as I want. 

The only way I can play is only if I have chords to look at. Chords are the notes on the Ukulele; there is G, C, E, A.There are only 4 strings on it. Some people play with their left and some with their right.

At the top of the ukulele there are 4 little ovals that are called the tuning thingey. At the very top of it  says Kalani i like using it a lot to play songs on.

On Wednesday the 24th of February room 5 and room 6 went to Mt Taylor. While walking up I felt itchy because of the long grass that spread all around.

Sliding down the hill was fun. My partner was Vake from room 5. We chose a lot of spots but it was not that slippery. Finally we found one that was the best. We had the best card board out of everybody.

People asked to use our cardboard. We said yes to Maia And Spencer. When it was time to go everyone walked to Mr Victor, Ms Daliwal and Mr Sok we walked down the hill to the park and put the cardboard in Ms Daliwals car. We went to play it was really really hot and just wanted some cold freezing refreshing water. 

We finally went back to school. Afterwards, we went to the pools with 2 people from room 5. There was my water bottle just on my table where I left it.  We had an early lunch then went to go play. Then we went home after that long day.

She got frightened and ran and told her cousin and uncle.

The cousin was told to sever the Eel’s head. After that the

Eel’s head was buried and from that a big tree grew and

planted a big plant called the coconut tree. She drank it as

if she was kissing him.

William rangoli art

Last week room 19 and 20 made rangoli art. First we drew on a piece of paper. Next I got four crayons, orange green,red and blue.After that we drew a colourful circle with lines And spirals with glitter, colours of silver and red. I liked to use my skills in my art.

Then we drew hard on our rangoli art to make it look dark soon we Cut our rangoli art

The magic wond

Once upon a time there was an old man called tee jay and a little kid called bj. They both lived in a house. One day tee jay and bj were playing and saw a Treehouse with a Very long ladder. They climbed and climbed untill they got to the top. It felt like they were on a cloud. First tee jay brought out a large 

Silver cloud machine that can make cloud shapes. The old man told bj to have a turn when bj blew it was small. The Second time he tried he broke it. Then the old man was feeling sad. Just then bj had a great idea. So he made a star then a Rabbit and blew them out of the machine. Finally they made a Big heart it was beautiful the End.
